Closing 2025 With Gratitude, Numerology, And Magic: A Collective Reflection

Lizzy Sutton & Nikki Sucevic Season 2 Episode 113

Lizzy & Nikki close 2025 by challenging the January reset, honoring winter’s slower rhythm, & tracing the real magic that showed up when we stopped forcing timelines. From crossing 100 episodes to building a trusted Practitioner Collective, we share how vetted healers, grounded practices, and thoughtful curation shaped a year that felt both expansive and sane.

We get candid about the pivots: shelving a membership, pausing an app after months of work, and choosing to pour our energy into what resonated most—this podcast. That shift opened space for richer interviews, monthly Arcturian channelings, and reflection guides that turn listening into action. Along the way, we compare two versions of magic. One of us leaned into a numerology personal year seven—deep spiritual work, Reiki growing by word of mouth, intuitive practices that nourished from the inside out. The other stepped into a nomad dream with kids and dogs, followed serendipity into “mailbox money” opportunities like RV parks, and let aligned communities form in unexpected rooms.

We talk numerology (universal nine to one), manifestation without burnout, ego detachment in partnerships, and why “being the one” matters less than being the most you in the room. Expect practical takeaways—set intentions by season, vet your mentors, prune projects that drain you, and anchor your day with breath, presence, and simple rituals. Your energy shapes the journey—let’s make space for what’s ready to arrive.

SPEAKER_03:

Hi, I'm Lizzie.

SPEAKER_00:

And I'm Nikki. Together, we welcome you to the Modern Sun Collective Podcast, a space where we explore holistic living, spiritual alignment, and personal growth.

SPEAKER_03:

Each week, we'll share conversations, practices, and wisdom to help you live with more joy, purpose, and connection.

SPEAKER_00:

For ancient wisdom and modern mindfulness, we are here to help you connect, expand, and come home to yourself. Let's elevate mind, body, and spirit together. And now on to today's episode.

SPEAKER_03:

Here in December, the final episodes of 2025. And Nikki and I have been talking this whole month and sharing all about our favorite things. And today we just wanted to share a little bit about the whole year, 2025. We wanted to do a little closing reflection so that you guys can hear how we reflect on the year, both individually and together as Modern Zen Collective, and just really have a collective moment of gratitude, of celebrating everything that we've done this year, and having a little bit of a moment to think about what we want to set our intention for 2026 before we get there. So we just really wanted to take this moment to pause, to reflect, to say thank you for being here with us along this journey of the Modern Zen Collective podcast. Now we're in season two. So we've done a whole year already. We're already past our 100th episode. And so we just want to say thank you so much for growing with us, for showing up with your open hearts and for being part of this collective journey towards consciousness, towards purpose and towards peace. And so Nikki and I just wanted to hop on and just reflect and say thank you and just be here with you for another episode as we close out the year.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, we are so grateful for you and so grateful for your, you know, listening and being receptive and uh understanding, you know, these are all things. Lizzy and I talk about all things on this podcast that we are truly passionate about for our own evolution, for um our own spiritual journey, for our own personal journey, for our own, you know, off the podcast personal journeys, everything that's going along with it, everything is interconnected. And what we talk about here, we really love to keep it real and talk about everything from a grounded perspective. We look at things as the Modern Zen Collective, you know, all the ancient wisdom in the modern day. We know that there are jobs, there is life, there is stress, there are kids, there are bills, there are everything that goes along with life of being here on planet Earth. And we are using this platform to talk about how we are navigating in different ways. Uh, you know, Lizzie having children and being a nomad now, and uh me living in Chicago with my boyfriend, and just the different ways we're navigating this life. So we appreciate you all being here and your own self-reflection and introspection into what you're doing, you know, for yourself and your growth. Um, so we've had so many great guests this year. We want to reflect on, you know, how we've grown and and how 2025, you know, is closing out.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. Yeah. It's so funny. Nikki and I were scrolling through our podcast episodes that we've released, you know, since launching on 1111, 2024. And um, it's so funny because we have this one episode that y'all love. It's literally like the the most downloaded episode we have. And we recorded it in back in March or launched it back in March this year. And it was all about why January 1st isn't the real new year. So it's called Embracing the Squ Spring Equinox, why January 1st isn't the real new year. And almost like talking about why we need to give ourselves permission to hibernate in those first few months while we're still sitting in winter and not pushing the reset button on our goals or pushing like the fast forward we got to hit the ground running on January 1st when actually our bodies don't and our minds don't really feel that way, but society has told us to go that way. So it's so funny because literally, out of all of our episodes, you guys love that one the most. So we're 100% gonna link it below for you. Let's blow those numbers up even more. But it's really cool that you guys are kind of interested in the same things that Nikki and I are interested in. You know, that you're finding yourself, you're noticing that you feel different than what society is telling you to feel, and you're wanting to learn more about your individuality, your unique way of working, your unique way of living and feeding more into that so that you can live with more ease and flow. So for me, I thought it was it was just really cool that that's one things that you gravitated towards the most. And I think, Nikki, what was your favorite, your favorite episode or your favorite interview that we did? Because this year we brought on all of our practitioners and we've really focused on growing our collective really intentionally with people that help us that we know can help you on your journey. So, Nikki, I'd love to hear like what was your favorite interview or episode or both of the year that we've had?

SPEAKER_00:

That's a great question. I loved all of our interviews. They're all, they're all all of our practitioners and our guests are all such a absolute wealth of knowledge in in different ways. And I um I I learned so much through my interviews one-on-one, through the interviews that Lizzie did one-on-one, just really fascinating. Uh, I think one that I love that um really I was one-on-one, and we did three mini episodes was with Rebecca Glick, and she talked about uh several different subjects, uh, really wonderful insights, wonderful wisdom, um, talking about, you know, the hidden toxins in our home. And we also talked about, you know, being real. You can go mad looking at every microplastic in your house or every seed oil in the food you're getting or going to the store. Like you can go crazy with that. And that is also constricting your energy and not making you feel good or healthy, and it's not serving you. You can't be dogmatic about this kind of stuff. So, my episode that I recorded with her, uh, we released it um in May, and it was the hidden toxins. Uh, and she really brought it down to a realistic level of what are the the major things you can look at that can make a bigger impact on your life so that, you know, kind of across the board, you'll feel better and you'll feel lighter. And she's uh just, you know, like I said, a wealth of knowledge looking at things from a grounded way. And she really specializes in women that are in um that paramenopause, menopause, mid-life range where there are there are those extra stressors on their life and they're trying to juggle a lot, um, and their bodies are changing, um, you know, where what age their kids are at, if they have kids, where they're at, you know, what they grew up with in the 80s and 90s, like how things are different now and how to do the best for their families and for themselves, for their health. So that one really stuck with me. I mean, they all stick with me. I can talk to you for like 45 minutes about how each practitioner really stuck with me because they were all, they they all have their own, their own gift and in how, you know, they brought the conversation and their knowledge and their wisdom, which is why we created the collective.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, exactly. And I think it's so funny because every time I would get off, I think you guys heard me say this in the interview that we did with Angelica Grace about sacred cacao. I was like, did I just meet my best friend? It's so funny because, you know, Nikki and I are both individually talking to these practitioners about joining and we individually know them. And then the other one of us is meeting them, you know, for the first time. And so it's so interesting because I had different conversations with people one-on-one. And when we're done interviewing them, like that's being recorded, we get off. And I remember this, like specifically with Sasha Bershadsky, which can't she came on here on September and talked about Ayurveda for seasonal shifts. And when we stopped recording, I think she and I talked for a whole another hour afterwards. And honestly, it was like really juicy. We probably should have recorded it too. But we also don't want you guys to have to listen to two and three-hour long podcast episodes, even though we would do it. You know, um, we all don't have that much time. So it's so interesting because I have I've really enjoyed the practitioner collective aspect of Modern Zen, because, you know, one of the reasons why we could created this company is that we look for practitioners to work with. And we're when they're in these esoteric modalities like a Reiki, like um Arcturian channelings, when they're in uh all these different kinds of things that you could be certified as, or you could just call yourself, or you could have had all this different level of training than someone else. You know, I'm a Reiki too, so is Nikki. Some people did their Reiki too in one afternoon. I did it over the course of an entire month where my Reiki master had all these things that we had to do, all these practices. I practiced on like 20 people before I even started charging people for it, you know. But then someone else could have done it in afternoon and just called them one. So that's why Nikki and I tried, started the practitioner collective is like these are vetted practitioners that we've tried, that we have best friends that people who know have paid them for their services and have gotten so much out of it. And so it's really interesting. Nikki and I have been shifting and flowing throughout the year with our business, you know, like each of us do. We're now in our points in our lives where we don't feel so stuck on something. If it's not working, she and I are very good about talking about it and then shifting our focus. And honestly, as we've been preparing for 2026, we have talked about bringing in more interviews. So, as you guys will see in 2026, our months will turn into two maybe two interviews a month. Because what I'm learning that I love is I love interviewing people and shining a light on other people, their expertise, and how they are able to help us. And so for me, I've learned that I actually want to talk less and I want to share with other people more, have more conversations so that you can see how much these other people have to offer you. Not myself, you know, particularly. I'm the one that brings you the resource. I'm not the resource. I'm bringing you all the resources for you to plug into. And so for me, that's something that's really highlighted and shifted for me over the course of this year doing the podcast. I mean, what about you, Nikki? Being in Modern Zen collective together over this past year, what do you feel like has kind of shown up for you that's something that you maybe not would have guessed has been something that you've really enjoyed or something that you are wanting to do more of, or even things that you're wanting to do less of that you didn't really expect?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, absolutely. I when you were talking, I was thinking about how much I love doing the channeling and I want, and that's something I'll be doing more next year. Lizzy and I've talked about how we're going to form the podcast next year, um, and what that's going to look like. And it's all new, great things for you all. And I I love that aspect of it because it's just something I do every day. I love channeling, I love meditation, I love tapping into my energy, all of that. And I really enjoy doing my downloads. And I do my Arcturian channeling. We release it once a month. And I love when I get a message from someone who listened to it who says it it is exactly what they needed to hear in that moment, or when Lizzie message messages me and says, Your voice changed during your channeling. And that's what happens. When I channel, my voice changes, whatever the message is going to be. And it's so, it's such a growth, a part of my growth uh that, you know, when I when I I remember exactly when I connected with the Arcturians, I was walking home from a bar class. It was a really hard bar class. I was walking home after. And if you know you take yoga, the shavasana, that time after you work out is when your mind is the most clear. It's when you're the most open for downloads. It's whether you're the most open for, you know, that connection with the divine. And the harder your workout is or the harder your yoga class is, the more relaxed your energy will be in that time when you give yourself the space. And I had a really hard bar class at Pure Bar in Bucktown. Shout out to them because they are butt kickers. And I walked home and I had a 30-minute walk home. So I walked home. And as I was walking home, I got I have the chills right now. I got this overwhelming emotion and chills and just a straight download that says, We're the Arcturians, are you open to transmission? And I was like, yes, yes, yes, yes, like I um, I was like, yes. And it was actually like the I actually have a picture. It was like the most beautiful night. It was, I took like the late afternoon class, it was rainy, there was like some rainbows, it was just a wild, wild, like huge energy field. And ever since then, um, when I do my meditation, I have my guides, I have my parents, I have my dog Marley, I have, you know, my angels, ascended masters, God, all these, you know, connections that I connect with. And then I specifically connect with the Arctorian Council of Light, the Arc My Arctorian Council. They call themselves group A. And I connect with them and I get messages for the collective, messages for our listeners, messages for myself. They're always of love, they're always for help and just to help us heal and help us grow. And it's uh an amazing, amazing, uh, amazing journey that it's been on to connect in that way and then also to share it in that way. So I'll be sharing more channelings next year. And it's just something that I truly love, love doing so much.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I'm so glad you mentioned your channelings because I was gonna say those are some of my favorite episodes. Like, you know, Nikki and I do episodes together and we do them individually as well. And I go on and I listen to her episodes on Apple Podcasts, because I have an iPhone after they're released. So I don't even listen to them when we're put it publishing them out there for you. I listen to them as a listener. And her Arcturian channelings are always so spot on. I'm like, holy shit, this is exactly what's going on right now in as in the cosmic collective, like for a lot of people I know. And I will take, I constantly am sharing that channeling with my friends. I'm like, okay, I always have at least two to three women that pop up in my head when I'm listening to the channeling and I immediately send it to them. I don't even finish listening to it. I'm like, okay, this purple person popped in my head, share. Person popped in my head, share. I'm like, you need to listen to this. And what's so great is that the channelings are like 10 to 20 minutes at the most. And so it's not a lot, but it's a really great, like short episode that delivers a big punch, like that delivers a big impact. And so I have been really loving your channeling, your channelings. And so this is kind of, you know, what we're sharing with you guys. Like we have individually figured out what we enjoy sharing with y'all more. And we are changing and we're shifting modern zen to do more of what lights us up. And that's, you know, that's this human design in action right now, you guys. Like what we've been sharing with you about in the very beginning when we shared human design when we first launched the podcast, up until this month, when we shared human design with y'all again, as like, come on, this is important. You could, this is gonna change your life. This is a huge game changer. Like us following the things that light us up, that's what it's all about. And so that's how Modern Zen is gonna get even better. And I don't know if you all, if you guys realized, but for a while we were promoting our app. And we Nikki worked so hard for so long on Modern Zen Collective app that we did not learn so much. I can build your app if you want to contact me. You just hit it. And it's it's incredible. So, like the things is we started, we started by wanting to do an online membership, subscription membership. We signed up for the we signed up for the thing, we put it all in, we built out this whole membership. It was not doing what we wanted it to do. Then we're like, oh, an app, duh, an app. That is the way to go. And it felt really good. It felt really good when we were starting on it. And we started on it and we built it and we built it. And then when it was time to launch it, we're like, not quite yet. Not quite yet. Not quite yet. Okay, put the app on pause. We're not even gonna think about it anymore. What is Modern Zen all about? If Modern Zen is what we're learning, like it's all about the podcast. A, like, this is what's most important us sharing these resources with you, sharing our thoughts, sharing our channelings, sharing this stuff that's coming through for us, and then providing y'all with the resources. So that's our website. That's all the free downloads that we create. We're creating free downloads for you every month, along with this podcast to reflect, to actually get something out of this, to do something, you know, with every single episode that we do. And then Nikki created the Bliss 40 program. We have her soul blueprint program. Like these are things that we are bringing to you guys that we really, really are passionate and care about. And I promise, like, there's nothing out there that we are not proud of. There's nothing out there that we don't want y'all to have access to. We don't, we're not just creating things to create things. We have even created things that we have never launched, you know, because they we even promoted them and we were like, you know what? No, no, it's not the time. And so it's it's pretty, you know, that's one of the things that I'm super grateful for, you know, Nikki, within our partnership is that at this point in our lives, we're both so willing to scrap things that we've spent so much time on because they don't feel right. And I think that's the thing is like old me, old you, incorporate us before we got into all of this work, would have just launched them because they're ready, because we spent so much time on them, because this is gonna make us money. And yet that's not who we are anymore. Like that's not how we work anymore. We work with flow, we work with alignment, we work with what feels right to each of us individually. And I love that we have this partnership where we can be open and honest with each other about where we're at, and that we support the other person in the decision ultimately, and that we move forward in a way that feels good to both of us. It really does. And I love that so much about you know, this our brand, our company, and who we are as a team.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And I and something that Lizzie and I discovered through our own self discovery and working together, which I also love that that the one of us isn't pushing the other one. No, it has to go to the end, it has to go to the finish line. We have to do it because that's what you hear at the round table at corporate. And for Lizzie and I, we realize, you know, through The art of detachment, you know, all the things we've learned on our spiritual journey, that everything that we learned on how to build a membership is serving us in other ways. Everything we learned on how to build out a new platform is serving us in a different way. Everything we learned on building an app is serving us in different ways. So even though we didn't bring it to the finish line of what we thought it would be in that few months or a year that we were creating it, all the wisdom we gained from that, whether it be, you know, connecting with people, learning, et cetera, we pull that in now and we'll pull it in different areas that we need when we need to use it for ourselves. So it's we often get, you know, just as a society, so um latched on to I made a goal, I need to hit it. I made a goal, I need to hit it. I think that's also why that for episode we talked about is so powerful and that you all loved it because we do talk about how January 1st is not the day you're supposed to hit the gym and do 45,000 push-ups and write your journal and do your manifestations and do everything you're supposed to do. Like you're still in that hibernation mode, and that's why it feels so like you're pushing against the grain. So instead of going with the flow of the seasons, where then in March, when the leaves start to, you know, you start to have flowers in different areas start to bloom and you know, everything starts to change a little bit, and we're starting to get closer to the spring equinox, things like that. That's why we that episode was so important for us to talk about. One from our own journey of learning when to let things go and to not go against what nature's telling us to do. Um, and just, you know, to in and enlighten in a way to look at things from a different perspective. Um, and you know, a big part, our our word this year was magic. And I almost feel like it should have been pivot, like that episode of Friends, where they all they did was pivot the couch, which I love. Uh, but our episode or uh our uh um word this this year was magic, and I I felt magic throughout the year, whether it was through our our podcast or our own journey and everything like that. Um, Lizzie, how did you feel magic showed up for you? Oh, magic.

SPEAKER_03:

This was a magical year, 100%. It's so funny because Nikki was like, My word's magic. And I had first written down like miracles, and I was like, I think it was miracles. Yeah, I was like, that's not that's not really it. I'm like, magic, yeah, magic. We're just gonna do magic. And and it has been a magical year. And I think, you know, Nikki and I, we did our first uh manifestation challenge in September, and it went so well. I manifested so many things. Nikki manifested so many things, so did everyone else that participated with us. So going even along with that episode that y'all love, we are going to be now doing our manifestation challenge twice a year. And April is gonna be the first one. We're not doing January. Nope. Because that's not us. Like, no you just relax. You're gonna hibernate. You're not gonna be able to do anything with us in January because we ain't doing shit. We're gonna relax and recalibrate. Yes, I love and I love that so much. And so I really think like magic was this year was magic, and it was magic within our business, and it was magic outside of the business in our personal lives too. It's so interesting because the more I've learned about manifestation, and I think this past year I got into it so much more, or I recognize the power, the power of letting go. Like, really, the power of letting go. We are always taught to hold on to our goals so tightly, to be looking at them and reviewing them constantly, consistently. If we want something, we need to constantly be taking action to get it, or to be uh doing all these things to get that thing. But that is not actually how things work. And I think this year particularly showed me the power of letting go of the things that I want. I mean, it's incredible the stuff that has come into my life and come into fruition that I have wanted for a long time, or that my husband and I wanted for a long time. I mean, the biggest thing is y'all know I've shared this, is I have always wanted a life of location freedom. I wanted in my 20s to pack all my shit up in my van, live out of a van outside all these beautiful places, and just move around. Well, guess what? I'm fucking doing that this year. Like I have a house on wheels now. I don't even own a home anymore. Our home is sold. We are in a camper now. My two kids, three and one, my husband and I, three Labrador retrievers, and my husband's business partner and one of his best friends that was that works for them. All four adults, two kids and three dogs, are living in one camper. And we're freaking in Alabama now. I had never even been to Alabama before, and it's beautiful. I never would have gone there without this. And I'm literally having this reality that I have wanted that I actually didn't think I was gonna get because I thought I was too old now with too many responsibilities, and that the opportunity for that was gone, and that I wouldn't have that opportunity until my kids were out of the house at a certain point. So that's like another 20 years, you know. I was like, oh, maybe, maybe when I when I'm like 50 something, you know, and I didn't have any attachment to this. And here it is, it just manifested in my reality as an opportunity. And my husband and I both looked at it and said, yeah. And so we took action, we made it happen, but the opportunity presented itself again to me without me trying to bring it back into my reality. Nikki and I talked about how I've, you know, I'm not a new car person, but everybody has been wanting me to have a new car for years. Everybody wants me to get a new car. I'm like, don't you dare buy me a new car. I'm gonna be pissed. Well, did you have a Yukon for everyone that was? I have a Yukon that has 270,000 miles on it. And I love that baby. I love it. I love Bessie. I love Bessie. And then all of a sudden I was like, you know what? I think I'm ready for a car, a new car, but I want it to have like 30,000 miles on it, just under 30, right around 30. I literally got my husband's truck that's a year old, so it's still new to me, at 29,600 miles on it. And I'm like, no fucking way.

unknown:

No way.

SPEAKER_03:

And it literally, like, he might have gotten a brand new truck, but I didn't want a brand new truck. You know what I mean? I literally got what I wanted. I said, Oh, oh, look at my husband and his business partner. I don't want to do business by myself anymore. I want a partner. I freaking got Nikki. Like Nikki and I have been together for years, but never thought about doing a business together. I've helped her start things, she's helped me start things, never even thought of it. And then one day I was like, why aren't you even considering Nikki? You know, like, and then and I said it to her. It came in a download for me. And I said it to her, and she was like, you know what? And this was born from us having this partnership that we said we wanted, didn't even think about each other. And then the opportunity just presented itself.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_03:

And then I just, it's like all of these things on top of one another, and now I'm recognizing it more and more. My husband and I have been wanting to find ways to diversify our investments and have mailbox money. Mailbox money, mailbox money, mailbox money. We've been talking about mailbox money. Like we want to do what we're passionate about, but ultimately, Modern Zen Collective, Nikki and I aren't worried about how many dollars are coming in the bank account right now. We're doing about just because we care. And so, what's the thing that I want mailbox money on? Oh, wouldn't it be great to own like an RV park? Wouldn't it be great to like own an RV storage place? Oh, wouldn't it be great to like own something like that? Like, we could buy that, we could buy that. Let's maybe we could build. Just been looking at things. All of a sudden, I got an inst Instagram knows us so well, doesn't it? You're probably it's crazy. It showed up on my phone in the end of August. Oh, you want to own your first RV park? Join us for this Zoom with Pace Morby. I'm like, Pace Morby, what a weird name. Okay, cool. Let's do it. Literally did the Zoom. Brilliant, signed up for his community, which is all about the community. I now I know who I want in a mentor and like community. And like he's number it was he literally is the kind of person that I would just follow. I literally met, heard of him, did his Zoom, signed up for community, went to Phoenix in October for a week and a half, met my team. Like, like literally, we put together a team of people there. Now I have a real real estate investing group that I'm part of. There's three other guys on it. We're all over, and we've already started looking at RV parks to purchase. And I didn't even look for it. These people are like, oh, I followed Pace Marby for like five years. I'm like, oh yeah. I listened to him for a week and I was like, this is the shit. Let's do it. It's so, it's so funny because all these things that have been things that we've been talking about for a long time are now here. Like I'm living them. And I'm telling you, they're not all sunshine and rainbows. I was about to murder my husband the first two weeks. We're in the camper together, and I know he was gonna murder me too. But like it hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows, but we're doing it, and this is what I asked for, and it's here, and it's who would have guessed at 36 years old, my entire life would change. My entire life looks different than it did a year ago. Yeah, nothing looks the same anymore. And it's all because I asked for it. I took some inspired action that one that like felt good to take, and then I let it go. And it all came back to me this year, out of I mean, this year, and that's not just saying things are over, like that manifesting challenge that we did in September. Like that gave me even more momentum. You know, that gave me the momentum I needed to go to Phoenix to build this team. You know, that gave me the momentum for that. It's it's incredible how how crazy things can happen, like how fast Nikki talks about this all the time. Like people are talking about this everywhere. Time is like speeding up so much right now. Like we're about to hit this huge change, you know, in two years in 2027. And so, like, time is relative and it's happening so fast. And you can allow it to happen that fast for you if you're aligned with what you actually want and who you are and what you're gonna say yes and no to. And I think it's been it's just been a year that has just taught me so much for how much goodness, how much opportunity, how much magic can come into your life when you're not holding on so tightly to how it's gonna happen, to how it's gonna show up, to when it's gonna show up, to who it's gonna show up with. Like let it go. And it's coming. It's coming. Take the action that feels good and then let it go.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. The mad magic, magic is being open and allowing and also, you know, being aware of the magic. We can be so in our day-to-day and not realize that something popped up and it was what we were talking about. You know, spirit uses technology to speak to us. And I know we talk a lot about algorithms and how also uh social media does that also. But spirit uses technology now that they can talk to us through tech and songs and whatever it would be to get messages across. And when we have little signs come through, you know, if you're thinking of quitting your corporate job, that's a big leap. And we know life is expensive and we know that not everyone has that um ability to do that in this moment. But if you see something pop up that says, how I quit my nine to five, maybe you just click on it and see what someone did. Maybe they took a three-year plan to get a side hustle or to invest in something or whatever it might be. Uh, so you know, being open and receptive, that was something that was big for Lizzie and I to see these little, little pieces of magic coming through. I wonder what your personal year is. Do you know what your personal year is for numerology? Because I'm in a seven, which is a lot about spirituality. Um, and yours had a lot of action and movement this year because mine was a two. Mine was a two, I think. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Lots of like partnership and building and exactly all of that. Yeah. Exactly. So this was like the perfect year for me to create these new relationships and partnerships, especially in business. And, you know, it's just, it's just really interesting. It was really interesting. And yours is a what that did you say?

SPEAKER_00:

I was in a seven. So my magic year looked far different than Lizzie's. So I did manifest the car that I wanted, and I am a specific manifester in human design. So with that, I got exactly what I wanted, down to the tires fit the tires that I had in storage for my old Land Rover. Like it was down to so much. So we have this car now that I manifested. But with uh being in a personal year seven, seven is about spiritual growth. So my year looked different from Lizzie's magic. And that's also, you know, like we've talked about before. We're always gonna look different than the other person. Mine was about tapping into my intuitive freedom, my intuitive understanding, um, taking time, really carving out time from my day to channel, to journal, to create that space, um, to release what no longer serves me in terms of things that I was doing or surrounding myself with, et cetera, um, to expand myself. Seven spirituality, I like to explore. I like to see new things. So traveling, seeing friends, um, being able to grow in that way and get experiences. So with me, magic showed up in ways of um, you know, trips coming up out of nowhere or uh things, um, you know, different ways for me to share my spiritual gifts and create uh sold blueprint packets for the community that I live with, live up uh in Highland Park, Illinois, up here, uh being able to share my gifts of yoga and meditation in different ways to different communities and different um groups. Um, really, I mean, spiritual year seven, my Reiki business took off this year and it's all by word of mouth. It's you could also access my Reiki channeling and healing through our website, ModernZen. Just go to my profile because Lizzie and I are also both listed as practitioners through our collective. But this year seven, the more I leaned into my gifts and the more that I leaned into teaching yoga from a channeling perspective, what does the group need? How can I channel and communicate in this way? And then being open to the invitations of, hey, I heard from XYZ person and they had a reading with you. I'd love to learn more about it, and talking to someone about my Reiki healing and channeling, which is a very unique mix that I created that is remote Reiki healing, usually about an hour and a half. And I do a Reiki healing on you while you're in a different location, wherever it would be around the world. I audio record it and I record all the intuitive messages that come through. And the feedback that I've received from those messages, I've had women who are in their 70s tell me that something came up that they've never told even their husband or their kids that happened to them in childhood, or a a different perspective of what to do for their job, or a different supplement to take. Like the guy, your guys are there to help you. And the the messages that come through as part of my my year seven and my magic, I mean, they could be you need to be in the sun and get some energy, or you need to relax, or carve out self-care. A lot of self-care messages came through this year for people because I think we're just really depriving ourselves. And we think it's very selfish for us to take that time to get a facial or get a massage or, you know, get a stretch, or, you know, things like that that you can even find a group on for and do it for cheaper, but giving yourself that time, we feel guilty. Um, but that was a big part of my growth this year was seeing and embodying and and living in that way. I even tapped into my guides and said, you know, this is really taking off. Like, should I be promoting this and really pushing it? And they were like, no, this is how it's supposed to be. It's word of mouth. And I'm like, okay, because I have tried to push it before and nothing happened. They were like, no, like you need to be in the energy. And when you're in that energy, people find you. And it's it's just, yeah, so that's been a big part of my year too, from from the magic perspective for like my evolution. I'm still in the same house, um, still, you know, doing a lot of the same things that I've talked about off um with different podcasts in my own life. Um, but every, yeah, it's just it's fascinating how you know everyone's year looks a little bit different. But that was that was magic for me. Love that.

SPEAKER_03:

And mine was actually year three. I was like, it's not a year two, it's a year three. Which makes a lot more thoughts and a lot more because it's like socializing, you know, energy, all this stuff, which is what I've been doing this year. So it's been great. Um but what Nikki and I are talking about right now is numerology, which, if y'all have listened to our numerology episodes, we did a universal year, we do a universal year numerology episode right before the next year starts. So there's one that happened this December that's about next year, and what we're feeling as a universal, a collective. What is the number of the year as a collective? And our year works or our lives work in nine year cycles. So this year was actually a universal year nine. So it was like a huge year of endings and like deaths and finishings and stuff closing out, and things are going to be looking very different next year on a collective scale. And then we also have our own personal year numbers that go on top of the universal collective year. So we're all experiencing all these endings as a nine, but we're also, she's experiencing the year seven, I'm experiencing a year three on top of the endings. So it's it's really cool. If you guys are interested in numerology, it's one of my favorite things. That's why we're doing another episode in December. But um, Nikki loves it too. And so we're gonna please listen to the universal one about that. And if you're interested in learning more about numerology, there is a really short book called You Are Cosmic Code. We'll link an Amazon link to it in the bottom. It's short, it's easy for you to be able to figure out what your numbers are. And it's so funny, Nikki. This group that I connected with, my real estate group. You know how I connected with them? Is literally the first that guy that I connected with was standing in the back of the room barefoot. And I was like, oh, barefoot guy? Totally up my alley. I'm like, oh that's what I done. I'm like, okay, Michael, you just need to tell everyone that you were barefoot guy and they'll know who you are. And he was like, okay, that's my thing. I'm like, yeah, that's you.

SPEAKER_00:

And that's how you've been for so long. That's how you met Bo.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. And then the other two guys, we started talking about me and the other guy, Nash. We started talking about numerology. And I'm like, oh, I'm a three. And he's like, oh, I'm a five. And like all this stuff. And we, you know, and like we start talking about all this stuff, this weird stuff in this room full of business people talking about business. And here we're connecting on like these spiritual things. I'm like, you're my guy. You're my guy. You're my guy. Okay, we're a team. Nobody else is getting in on this juice unless they want all four of us. Are we good with that? Okay, we're good with that. Awesome. You know, it's so funny because like these other parts of us, they help us to inform who's a good fit with us as well, you know? And so I want you guys to listen. Numerology for sure. Nikki and I love it. And it's it's so interesting because, like we said, like both Nikki and I experienced so much magic this year, but in a totally different lens. Like our lenses are different. And I love so much. I didn't realize this was a spiritual year for you. And it makes so much sense because that has been what your year has been about. I mean, it's been so apparent from the outside looking in as well. And for me, like my spiritual business, I haven't touched it this year and I haven't wanted to. I haven't felt like I am in a place where I could offer this, my Reiki to other people, my coaching to other people. I don't have that energy right now to give outside of my family and myself at this point. And yet you are thriving in that this year. And I'm here thinking, like, man, am I doing something wrong? Is my stuff not right? Like, should I be pushing on this and all this? And every time, like you're saying, I'm it's like, no, let it go.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

You're good. And it's it's so interesting because I think even like you and I, in this wonderful partnership that we have, sometimes we can look at the other person and be like, damn, she's killing it at that. Should I be killing it? And you're like, no, it's not the right pattern. Like, it's your time for this. It wasn't my time for any of these things. And I I love that you're reflecting on that right now and we're sharing this because it's like we have these two the same word, and we both experienced so much magic this year, but in two totally different ways. And yet we're in partnership together. It's so it's like our uniqueness is just happening on this like big scale. And yet sometimes we can't even recognize that that's what it is until we have this time to like talk to each other about it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And you made up you made a really good point because we could do so much comparison with someone else. Like I could look at you and say, Oh my God, you sold your house, you're on the road, you have so you built you doing another business, you have so much and you're and you're a mom and you have two small kids and you're, you know, the primary caregiver, you know, with there's so much going on that you're juggling and you're doing it so that can make, you know, from a reflection standpoint with society, look at, wow, Lizzie's doing so much shit. That's amazing. I'm not doing anything. I'm in the same house. I'm doing the same thing. I'm still teaching yoga, I'm still doing this. But looking at things that were all so unique on a different podcast, I mentioned, you know, when you take a yoga class, your teacher typically says you'll never look like your neighbor. And that's meant to encourage that our bodies all look different or abilities all look different. And one day you might be able to hold a standing pose for a half hour, and one day you might fall over. And there's nothing different between the days you can really pinpoint, but every day is different. So just knowing, you know, that all of our journeys are different, and that's been a big part of us this last year with the podcast and the evolution. Like we dropped the platform we invested a lot of money in, we decided not to do the app. We decided to adjust and put all our eggs in the podcast basket. And what does that look like? And it's really benefited us because we are so empowered doing it and we're so lit up doing it. And we and the the practitioners we interview are so lit up doing it that it was serving, you know, when you have your gifts, you find your gifts. The the, in my opinion, and for what I found through my channeling and teachings, the purpose of life is to find your gifts, embody your gifts so you can serve others. And that's what we are doing, that we love doing here and why we left our corporate jaws and we were followed a path that was very unknown, that we were just, you know, following intuitive hits and trying to figure out what that was. And I I have tremendous gratitude for what we've done this year, how we've grown, how we've released, how we've worked together as a partnership and have been able to understand, you know, for like just to give give Liz give Lizzie some, you know, thank you high fives, like coming from corporate, and when I brings when I would bring something up in corporate or just with a partner, or even with, you know, someone who is, you know, on your level, not on your level, whatever, there's a lot of friction, like there's a lot of ego, and there's a lot of like, no, this is mine, we're doing it this way, or no, like what you're saying is wrong. Like the first instinct typically is for survival and is for you're wrong, I'm right. And then maybe it might soften to someone saying, okay, like I see your point. With Lizzie, anytime I bring anything up, she's always, you're always so receptive and you're like, okay, let's talk through it. What do you think? Okay, let's do it. What do you think? Tell me more. Okay. And she you ask questions and you're inquisitive. And I think that really has been a big part of our growth for us to be able to evolve and grow because you do detach, you do let things go, but you also want to learn and you're not thinking you know everything, and you're not thinking you know everything to um hold on tight and that it has to be controlled and that this is, you know, your baby and this and this is what we need to do. And it's very an inspiring when I bring things up to you that there's no rigidity. It's always, yeah, okay, what do you want to do? Let's do it. Let's talk about it. And it's I feel like that's such a gift that you have, like just like absolutely amazing gift that you have, and that's helped us grow. And I have so much gratitude for that.

SPEAKER_03:

I appreciate I appreciate you saying that. I think I don't think that sometimes, but I think one thing that I've learned that I've learned more recently, not even this year, but right before this year started, like 2024, was I think I had like a big ego death. Like I had this thing where it was like, I can see so clearly now when my ego is the thing that's choosing, or when I'm like my soul, like what's right is what's choosing. And it's it like happens in like a flip of the switch almost, I kind of feel like, or all of a sudden you can see, like, no, that's my ego wanting that. That's not me. That's the ego, you know? And um, that has been a big game changer for me, I think, because the ego gets in the way of so many great things, like so many great collaborations and just and stepping back from things and like having new people step into them and like you stepping into these new places. It's like when you're not scared to be the one that doesn't know anything, you know. It's like when you find that place and that comfort in yourself where you don't have to be the one, you're like, oh, I get to be the one when it really feels like I I want it and I'm passionate and it's because it's lighting me up. And then I don't have to be the one in all these other scenarios. And it feels so good because I feel like we're always taught we have to be the one, we have to be the leader. If you want to be recognized, you have to be the one at the front of the room. And that's not true, it's not true. Your energy can get you recognized. You stepping into the room fully yourself, feeling good, not attached to other stuff that you don't want to be attached to anymore, that that gets you noticed, you know, like by the people you want to notice, the by the people that you're meant to meet in the room. When I showed up to Phoenix, every morning I reikied myself. And I hadn't done reiki on myself for months, for months. And you know what? I was like, this is the time. And every morning I reikied myself for 10 minutes, and my intention was to show up completely myself, not attached to anybody else's energy, and to allow my energy to draw people to me that that I needed to draw to me in that room. When you're in a room with 250 people, you ain't meeting 250 people, you know? So, like really setting the intention that I'm I'm me, I'm gonna show up fully myself and the right people that I'm supposed to meet will be the people I meet. And I think that it feels so good to live that way now, honestly. And like, I don't want to be the one anymore. You know, it's it's it's just so it's really, it's really been an interesting flip that has happened for me over this past year. And so I appreciate you saying that because I don't know that that's who I was two years ago, even like before you and I got into this partnership. I don't know, you know. Um, so I appreciate you saying that. I really do.

SPEAKER_00:

It's very apparent. It's because I there's so much friction in the world, and like you're saying, we're so used to fighting to win in society and that we need to be on top. And it's very apparent when you even when you interview guests, just it's it's very, it's it's it's very apparent that you are very comfortable in who you are and and detaching the ego and checking yourself if you need to. I don't I don't notice you doing that, but I'm sure that's what you're saying you do, and I I appreciate that and respect that. And it it's it's just it's very uncommon, I would say. Like to, and it's something that I'm looking at, you know, for myself going into 2026 intentionally, and we'll find our magic word. Our magic word, we'll find our magic word for 2020 sometime soon. We'll figure out what that is, our word for 2026. But for me, uh releasing, I still have those times where I know my ego's coming up, specifically in my relationship and thinking I know best, or with you know, things that don't serve me. Maybe there's something I'm doing in my life and I know I can feel it's not the right thing I'm supposed to be doing, but I feel obligated to keep doing it for whoever I'm impacting. And um, and I feel that obligation, or I feel like I'll let them down, or I'll feel uh, you know, some I don't want them to, you know, I don't want them to judge me, et cetera. Like a lot of the ego um energy. So something that I'm bringing in for just myself on a personal level is what you've said you that you did the last year is to really check myself and to live. I I almost like to, I want to live like in a state of wonder. Like little kids, like your little kids, like everything is everything's a miracle to them. Like everything is like, wow, like they like, and it's when you have children. I don't have children, but my friends that have children, I have a nephew, you know, just allowing yourself to take that time when you're with your child, if you have the time and space to look at the plane when it's flying across the sky. Cause that that means the world to them to take 30 seconds to look at the bulldozer that's at the construction site, you know, whatever it is. And I like, I really want to look at things with that gratitude and that childlike wonder of wow, what a miracle it was for me out of all the chances in this world that that this I could have been born at this time, in this, you know, era when we're moving into this amazing transition on earth, which is very difficult and then very euphoric, and then very difficult, and then very amazing. But how lucky am I that I got to come here and how lucky am I to live where I live and to have the opportunities that I have? And yeah, you know, I'm I'm looking at, you know, going into 2026 with that intention of of uh pure gratitude and and childlike wonder. Like I'm excited for that to look at things in in that way.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, I love that. I love that. What a what a great thing for 2026. I love that so much. And it does naturally kind of happen when you do have kids. I do find that, you know what I mean, that I'm in more of that space energetically just because I'm I'm with my young kids. Um, I think for me for 2026, I have so many things going on, and I hate to use the word busy, I don't use that word anymore. I have so many things that I've chosen to do. For me, it's letting things fall away. Like it's letting things go away and letting the things that are most important to have that time and energy like given to them. I think right now I'm feeling so unsupported in my life outside of being a mom. It's like being a mom is everything, and I love that. However, it's not working right now for me to do all the other things that I've said yes to. And so I think for 2026, it's a year of new beginnings, right? And this year I have really noticed the things that need to end, that need to just be done. And I think for me next year, I really want to lean more into like the facilitation part of parenting where I'm actually more like facilitating more things throughout the day instead of just like letting us move through the day. It's not like I don't take them to do things, but it's like I allow what we're doing to facilitate it instead of me really taking the reins and having more intention around the things that I'm doing. And I think it's just because I'm so tired. I'm trying to get through the day where somebody else can hold them for a moment. You know, my daughter's like on this kick where like I can't put her down and without her screaming and stuff. And so um, it's just a little difficult right now. Like modern Zen means so much to me. You know, that's why like I this is a priority for me. You know, my real estate business dreams, like I fully plan on us having at least one to two RV parks, like under our names, fully operational by this time next year. Like, that's gonna take a lot of effort and energy from me. And honestly, like junior league. Yeah, I need to step away. Like, I'm out of Fort Worth now. I had already said yes to this year. I'm in charge of the trainings with my co-chair, which has been a huge lift this year. I'm ready to take a break from that kind of service. Like, I do my husband's business invoicing and all this operations and stuff. I'm ready to be done with that. But that's my only paycheck. So it's really hard for you to say, like, yes, sorry, honey. I know that I'm the one that does this the best. And you pay me to do this for you. I don't want to do it anymore. I already told him this. I was like in tears telling him this the other day. But he's like, okay, we'll find someone else. And then I'm like, no, no, wait, no, wait. I can do it. I can fan it all in. So I think for me, like, it's time for me to like really let go of these things that aren't filling me up anymore, that are feeling like such a drain, so that I can put all my time and effort and energy into Modern Zen, into my real estate business, and into my family. You know, the family's getting everything, but I want, I want these other things to have things. And I don't want other people looking at how I spend my time and telling me how to spend it. It's like, look, like I'm doing all this stuff for everyone else all day. If I'm gonna stay up till midnight on my computer, you sure she ain't coming out here and telling me what I should be doing on my computer. Like doing what, you know, like you know, I'm sure you people know what I'm talking about. Like, you know, it's like uh I have very little time. I'm gonna use it how I see fit, you know? And so I think for me, it's really like letting some more stuff go for 2026. Like I've really, like I've figured out how to let go of the things that I want in my life. Now I need to figure out how to let go of the things that I don't want in my life anymore.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, also so good. So good. And trusting, trusting something, so trusting that it's going to work out, trusting that that pain you feel to release it is creating the space for you to be able to not be overwhelmed and to bring in more of what you deserve and what you want and what, you know, abundance and love and peace and you know, satisfaction and everything. Uh, and that's the trust part is, you know, like jumping out and not knowing what's gonna happen. But that's kind of the fun, the fun part of it. Uh trusting that it'll it'll work out, even though that's your paycheck. But it's going to work out because like this is what Gabby Bernstein has a lot of talks like this, right? Like we can we can latch on to something and think we know the best. So we know, you know, she talks her first book, Universe Has Your Back, um, or one of her first books. It wasn't her first one, but The Universe Has Your Back. And she talks about how when we do that, we are telling God, universe, whatever your name is, or energy that you prefer. We're telling them we know best, you don't know. But that energy, that field, I have goosebumps right now, looks at everything from the helicopter view to see all the moving pieces that could happen to make it happen. So she gives so many, you know, real world examples. And one of the ones that stuck with me was a girl who hated her job, hated her job, and was living in the energy of hating her job. So she was never leaving. She was never, she didn't want to quit. She was scared of what was next, et cetera. And she was just, you know, negative, this, that, and she ended up getting a pay decrease because the company, they were, they were just like, well, everyone can keep their jobs, but everyone's getting a 40% pay decrease and your benefits are lowering. And, you know, all these things started to happen to her that were almost pushing her out of her job. And instead of growing in that moment and having that perspective of I should change, she got into woe is me land, like, oh, see, everything sucks, everything sucks, everything, you know, all this stuff that you can easily get into, but it's just the universe being like, look, dude, you fucking asked for this and I'm trying to give it to you, and you're not fucking listening. So can you pull your head out of your ass and just make it make a change? So she talks about this is one of her clients a long time ago. She talks about how the girl finally was like, enough is enough. Like, I've had enough. I'm gonna do this woo-woo bullshit, and I'm going to actually know that I deserve something better, and I'm gonna start reading books on marketing and doing this and go and going to classes and starting to create that action for the job I really want. Well, she went into an elevator once and they were on the floor, and somehow she got talking to someone, and that person was looking for a marketing intern's starting salary was like$45,000 a year for an intern. And the girl was like, uh, I'm the one that you want to hire. And she ended up getting a job through that interaction because her energy, like you're saying, Lizzie, like she just stepped into that other energy of who she was, and it was like a light switch. And she decided instead of being the woe is me, everything's bad happens to me, because she would have gotten laid off and then she would have probably had problems getting her unemployment, and then she probably would have not been able to get Cobra and or afford it. Like all these things could have happened because she was in the energy of, I'm telling the universe nothing works out. So the energy, the universe is giving me that. So when she changed it and she decided, I'm in the energy of, I know I want to do marketing, I'm gonna start looking into this. I don't know what's gonna happen. I'm just trusting that this is gonna happen. All these woo-woo people are telling me this is what I should do. And then lo and behold, her energy attracted what she was supposed to have, but from that magic and from that trust. So it it's also like having that, you know, letting things fall apart and having that trust part of it, that it's going, it's going to work out. Like it, it's all for your best benefit. Even if something shitty happens, it's for your benefit to grow in that moment because it could have been a lot shittier, usually, is what it is. So that happens.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm like, husband, can you please listen to this podcast? Husband, where are you? Listen to this shit. Like, I swear every day he's like this again. These people, what the fuck? And I'm like, dude, you need to let go of this negativity. He's like, I'm a realist. I'm just a realist. And I'm like, dude, you are getting more of this because this is what you're living in. It's so, oh my God, Nikki, like, help me get through to my husband. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, please. Also, you should do voiceover acting because that was really good. It's like the shit I live with every day. Oh God. Oh, we're programmed to be realists. That's what we are. We're programmed to look. But the funny thing is, things are real because of the energy of the universe. Like that, like Everything is energy. So the only reason why I have this table and this microphone is because of energy. Like someone, someone thought one day to make and a microphone, and some they told someone, and someone was like, That is the stupidest idea I've ever heard. Who's gonna use that? Well, look here, I'm using it for a podcast. And that person decided not to listen to re reality and to be a realist and to do what they thought was right, and that's what they created. So it's so funny when people say I'm a real realist. Yeah, you're a realist. You're living in the real reality that was created for you by the energy that you put forward to make it that way. It's just fascinating to me. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

But no, I it's so funny that we're talking about this right now because I'm literally listening to Becoming Supernatural by Joe Descenza right now. It's like the second book, you know, instead of what breaking the habit of being yourself, it's like becoming supernatural. And I just tried to listen to the first one first and I was like, meh. And I listened to this one, and this one is so good. So good. And he's talking about right now, like that story you shared about the woman manifesting that job kind of thing. He's talking about his son. He shares a story about his son and how he helped his son get into the mind state, the right mindset and all this stuff to attract the job that was perfect for him too. And it was like the same thing. Like he was in a surf shop and all this stuff. I'm like, oh my God, you know? So, like, I'm a I feel like that book, like what we're talking about right now, it's like resonating even more because I'm listening to this. It's the when the universe is trying to tell you something, you hear it multiple times from in multiple ways from different places. And I'm hearing that right now, like from you, reflected back to me and this book and all this stuff. So I'm I think I need to like re-listen to the whole book from start to finish again, you know, and everything, because you're so you're so right. And I just wish like I try and play these things when I'm in the car with him. I'm like, perfect. You're planting your in the car. I'm playing it right now. And he's like, I can't listen to this shit while I'm driving. And I'm like, dude, you just told me I could play whatever I wanted. Right. So I'm trying my hardest to mental jujitsu my husband into an abundance mindset and like and a positive outlook on that things are just gonna work out for you.

SPEAKER_00:

Like what what growth for you that this is, you know, this is the partner that life gave you for you to have patience and no ego, to plant the seeds and to know his perspectives different and and to and to grow in your own way in this, like that. What a what a beautiful gift that you got too from your partnership to see it.

SPEAKER_03:

Um to that. This is a gift. Everything you are such a gift to me, Bo. I'm just gonna tell everyone. Kills me. Oh shit. Well, you know, people, we're real too. Like we have real lives too. Like, I promise it's not like we talk about all these things and we try our hardest, but that doesn't mean that everyone in our lives is on the same wavelength as us. My husband is not on the same wavelength, you know, and I'm trying to woo-saw some magic into his brain while he's sleeping. I put on subliminals. I put on your subliminals, Nikki, when he sleeps. I'm like your neural pathways, even if you don't know that's what I'm doing.

SPEAKER_00:

Like you'll never know. Kyle, um, Kyle listens to frequencies now and subliminals because I planted the seeds. It's been years that I listened to them. And at first he was very much like, this is stupid. This is bullshit. What does this do? Et cetera. And, you know, after a while and this and that, and it was really when our cat got sick, and I said, We, you know, listen, like, let's put on this Arcturian healing frequency. Let's do this, let's do that. And he saw he he really believed in it and trusted it and saw that it was working, and now he does it for him himself too. Um, but but yeah, we're we are all real, we are all going, going through it and and um learning as we go, and we can only plant the seeds, right? Where this reminds me of Catherine Zinkina, and she talks about um how when her and her husband, I think his name's Brendan, got together and she said, I'm in the manifestation, I'm doing this, whatever. And he was like, I don't understand any of this bullshit. And he was like, his own world, you know, and doing his own thing. And she's like, Okay, well, you know, this is a good lesson for me. I'm going to detach from you. And she actually said she does like a cord cutting every night for Brendan, like where she's like, Your energy is not mine. I'm cord cutting you and going into my own. And she started to push, not push, but she started to follow her guidance for intuition and for her business. She started to make money on money on money on money. And finally, Brendan was like peeking over, like, hey, how are you making all this money? And she was like following my intuition and doing all the woo shit you said wasn't reality. And so then now he quit, you know, he quit his job and they would work work together full-time for her career manifestation, babe. Uh, but I I think of that story too, because also men are wired that way to seek reality for survival and to look at possible threats and what's going to happen, etc. You know? So I I told I get I get you, Bo. I get you, Kyle. I get you, I get you.

SPEAKER_03:

We get you, men. We need you. We do need the other side to it. The gin and the ying, of course. Yes, yes. So good. So all of this is to say that we love you guys so much. Yes, so much. 2025 was a banner year. It was a year full of magic. It was a year that we really, you know, we launched 1111 last year. We only have like a month and a half before this year, but you know, Nikki and I are we're here for you guys. We're here for each other, we're here for ourselves, you know. We we get so much from this, you guys get so much from this. We're so thankful that you're here and that this business, this company manifested for both of us and for you. And we're just really happy that y'all are a part of our Modern Zen collective family. And uh we're just so happy that you're with us.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, it's I mean, Lizzie and I love talking in general, but we love like riffing and just having fun. So we're we want to bring this into 2026 more conversations where we are just real and talking and laughing and and talking about life and everything. Because we know that's just that's that's life. We all have it. Um, we all have things going on all the time, and we can make a perfect little present that looks like what our life is, and that's that's not what it really is. And the more that we all show ourselves, the more others become uh, you know, aware and they uh become they feel allowed to act like themselves too. And I feel that when I see other podcasters just laughing or a child walks in or a dog bark, you know, whatever it is, like something else happens in life, and that's just life, you know, we're not perfect. Uh, but we we are counting our blessings. We are so thankful for you one staying here throughout our last episode of the year for this long one that we chatted and talked and reflected on 2025. And we ask you to really look at and see like what's the one word that would describe the energy you're stepping into next year? What does that look like for you? What are you releasing and what are you stepping into? The the energy of the years, go back to that episode with Lizzie is really going to serve you from going to a nine to a one. So reflect what is the word for you? Uh, we really, really appreciate you walking beside us in our practitioners. We appreciate every single one of you being here, sharing your wisdom and your time and your energy when you all have little lives, all the other things you are juggling. Um, so we appreciate all of you being here with us and all of the interviews we've had with all of you and your wisdom.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, absolutely. Yes. Thank you. Big thank you to our practitioners. Absolutely. And one thing that Nikki and I have started doing um the past few months, and we'll be carrying this with us into 2026, is we're doing reflection guides for each month of podcast episodes. So if you guys like to do more than just listen, each one of these podcast episodes that we're now releasing every month has a little reflection corner that goes along with it with some journal prompts. And we have been creating guides that are posted onto our website for you to download every month if you want to have some additional journal reflection prompts to go along with the things that you're listening, with the topics that we're bringing up. And so if you guys want to go a little bit deeper, like please download the um reflection prompts for December. And we will continue to have that as a resource for you as we move forward into 2026 with the little few changes that we're making to the podcast. So we'll have these reflection guides. We're gonna be bringing in more interviewees like for our episodes. And Nikki and I are also gonna be sharing um more channelings and things like that. We're going to start a paid offering podcast side that's going to have a lot more of our little channelings in it because we know that not everyone is interested in that kind of thing. And so if that's something that you're interested in, like what's happening for us right now, what is coming through for us right now, that's where we're going to be sharing those things. So keep your eyes open for that launching um in 2026. And again, we love you guys. Thank you so much.

SPEAKER_00:

Thank you so much. Happy new year. Celebrate it in the way that works for you. Don't go for societal norms. Do what you love to do. If it's in bed by eight, do it. If it's going on partying, do it. Do what you love. We appreciate you all. Happy new year.

SPEAKER_01:

We'll see you on the other side 2026.

SPEAKER_02:

Before we close this year together, take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth, letting it all go. Feel your body soften, feel your heart expand. And for just this moment, let gratitude fill every single part of you. Gratitude for the lessons, the laughter, the growth, and the grace that this year has offered. Bring to mind one moment from twenty twenty-five that made you smile. And one lesson that shaped you in ways you didn't expect. Inhale appreciation for them both. The light and the learning. And exhale a quiet thank you into the space around you. As the year comes to a close, trust that everything you've experienced has guided you here to a deeper knowing of yourself, to a greater sense of peace, to the threshold of something new. And take one final breath in and whisper silently to yourself. I am grateful. I am ready. I am open. Carry that feeling with you into 2026, where new beginnings are already waiting. Thank you for being part of the Modern Zang Collective Podcast. From our hearts to yours. Happy New Year.
